This roof terrace was rarely used as it was too sunny and exposed and previous planting attempts had failed. The clients wanted a comfortable space to sit work and enjoy the view from the house.

We installed an electric awning to provide shade, designed a built-in bench with comfy cushions, added planters filled with the wind and drought tolerant planting. We also fitted an irrigation system to ensure the plants would thrive. The terrace is now a welcoming, well-used space.
